Lesson Information

Thank you for your interest! I'm delighted you're considering learning with me, and I look forward to helping you develop your musical skills, confidence and enjoyment of music.

To ensure lessons run smoothly and fairly for everyone, please take a moment to read the information below.

Weekly Lesson Time

Lessons take place at the same day and time each week. This consistency is one of the best ways to make steady musical progress.

Your weekly lesson time is reserved exclusively for you. As lesson spaces are limited, your slot cannot be offered to anyone else while it is reserved in your name.

Fees & Payment

£20 for 30 minutes

£40 for 60 minutes

Lessons are paid for in advance in blocks of four weeks.

Payment is due before the first lesson of each block in order to secure your ongoing lesson time.

Attendance & Missed Lessons

As your lesson time is reserved exclusively for you, lessons missed by the student cannot normally be refunded, credited or rearranged. This includes absence due to illness, holidays, school trips, work commitments or any other reason.

If I happen to have another suitable lesson time available, I may occasionally be able to offer an alternative, but this should be considered a bonus rather than an expectation.

If I need to cancel a lesson for any reason, I will always arrange an alternative lesson or credit the missed lesson towards your next payment.

Ending Lessons

If you decide to stop lessons, I simply ask for four weeks' written notice.

Your notice period begins from the day you let me know and lessons continue as normal during this time.

This policy allows me sufficient time to offer your lesson space to another student while ensuring continuity for everyone.

School Holidays

Lessons continue as normal during half-term holidays.

There are no regular lessons during the Christmas, Easter or summer holidays unless otherwise agreed in advance.

Commitment

Learning an instrument or developing your voice is a long-term journey. Regular attendance, consistent practice between lessons and open communication will help you make the greatest progress and enjoy the experience as much as possible.

Communication

If you're running late or need to get in touch about anything, please let me know as soon as possible.

If you have any questions about lessons, practice or your musical development, I'm always happy to help!
